At a glance
Bulk / Grid Settings repeats the whole Start-to-Finish tree for each occupied grid position. Build a short single-item craft first, then give it a small grid to process.
Before you start
Finish setup, configure the Alteration stash location, and enable Orb stock guard. Prepare three identified, uncorrupted magic rings you are willing to reroll. Rings fit one inventory cell each, which makes the first grid easy to check.
1. Create a single-pass tree
On the Hub, use + to create Inventory test, then open Edit. Add Check Item with Rarity: Magic and an Orb: Alteration. Add the staged nodes with Add to Tree.
This example uses one orb application per matching item. Its batch size comes from the grid, so you can verify the repetition without an inner crafting loop.
2. Connect the item logic
Connect Start → Check Item. Connect the check's met output to Alteration, and Alteration to Finish. Connect the check's unmet output directly to Finish.
Finish ends the current item's pass. Bulk then moves to the next grid position. A wrong-rarity item reaches Finish without spending an Alteration.
3. Arrange the test batch
Place the three rings in adjacent cells of one inventory row. Keep the inventory visible alongside your stash. Move valuable items away from the three cells you intend to include.
For this hypothetical batch, three magic rings require three successful orb applications. A rare ring among them would be skipped by the rarity branch.
4. Place a three-cell grid
Open Bulk / Grid Settings from the editor toolbar. Under Run on, choose Grid cells, then choose Place grid overlay.
Position the overlay around exactly those three inventory cells. Set one row and three columns, align its boundaries with the cells, and confirm with OK. Use Show grid on screen to inspect the placement again.
5. Save the bulk options
Leave Optional: cap how many cells to run unchecked for this example. The three-cell overlay bounds the batch. Leave Pre-scan and skip empty cells off, and keep Stop when empty cell reached off so a gap can be skipped.
Save the settings. Confirm the toolbar is set to grid cells. Selecting Current item would run only on the cursor position captured at start.
6. Start and inspect
Return to the Hub, make PoE ready, and start the tree. Keep your mouse still while it runs. Watch the item and grid progress, then open Logs after completion.
Check the result
Each of the three magic rings should receive one Alteration, followed by bulk completion. Empty cells are skipped. Recheck the three item tooltips and compare the logged cell count with the occupied positions you prepared.
If it does not work
- Only one item runs: switch the toolbar from Current item to Grid cells.
- Wrong items are hovered: realign the overlay and confirm one row, three columns.
- Item is not read: follow item copy troubleshooting before enlarging the grid.
