At a glance
Use Purchase to buy from a saved trade search. Start with one low-cost item, then increase the amount after checking the result.
Before you start
Complete the setup your purchase flow needs and leave enough inventory space. Have currency available. The interactive version is in Help > Purchase Items.
1. Build a precise search
On the official Path of Exile trade site, choose the correct league, base and item filters. Click Search, inspect the results, then copy the full saved search URL.
Example: use a narrow search for the exact base you need. Every matching listing is a possible purchase, so review the filters before running.
2. Add Purchase to a tree
Create a tree with +, open Edit, then select Trade > Purchase in the palette. In Trade settings, use Log in and confirm the trade session is active.
Choose Fixed URL for the same search each run. Choose Run parameter if you want to supply the URL when starting. Paste or bind your saved link, then click Add to Tree.
3. Set amount and price ceiling
Open Run parameter bindings. Under Amount to buy, create a number parameter. Set it to 1 for the first run. An unbound amount also buys one item.
Bind both Max buy price and Max buy currency. Enter the amount you are willing to pay per item and the matching chaos or divine currency at Start. A max price of 0 means no limit.
4. Choose where items go
- Keep leaves purchased items in inventory. Use this for the first check.
- Dump deposits into stash and requires Dump tab index. The first tab is index 0.
- List puts items in the player shop and needs the appropriate listing setup and Complete plan.
Choose one destination. For the first run, leave After buying, run this tree empty.
5. Connect and run
Connect Start > Purchase > Finish. Start the tree, review the search, amount, cap and currency, then run.
Check the bought item's base, mods and price. Read Logs before increasing the amount.
6. Increase the batch
Set a small larger amount, such as 3, only after the first item is correct. For Dump, verify the actual destination tab with a small batch first.
Check the result
The correct items arrive in the selected destination, purchases respect your per-item cap, and the log shows the expected amount or explains why buying stopped.
If it does not work
Check trade login, league, saved search URL, available currency and inventory room. A price cap can stop buying when the cheapest available match is too expensive.
