At a glance
A Mods check compares the item with your selected lines. Start with Simplified mode to require every line, or accept at least a chosen number of them.
Before you start
Open an editable tree and have an identified item available for a short check. Complete setup first so the app can copy the item reliably. The numbers below are hypothetical filter settings, not recommended crafting targets.
1. Add a Mods check
Choose Check Item from the node palette, then Mods. Select the item type that you actually plan to check. If the picker requests a subtype, select that too before searching for mods.
2. Add the stat lines
Under Stat lines, search for maximum life and fire resistance. Add the appropriate lines from the catalog, then click Done to configure them.
Read each complete line before adding it. A local weapon stat, a hybrid line and a global stat can describe different requirements even when their names share a word.
3. Set each minimum roll
Choose Simplified. In this example, set the life line's Min Value to 70 and fire resistance to 30.
These numbers apply to the item's rolled stats. A value of 70 means at least 70 on that life line. It does not mean 70 matching mods. Hybrid lines can show a separate field for each part; enter the intended minimum in each relevant field.
4. Choose how many lines must match
Select All configured mods to require both life and fire resistance. Select At least N and enter 1 to accept either qualifying line.
For these two ordinary stat rows, an item with 75 life and 25 fire resistance fails All and passes At least 1. An item with 75 life and 35 fire resistance passes both choices.
5. Use tiers when the roll tier matters
If a stat offers Value and Tier, you can select Tier instead. Choose Min tier T2+ to accept T1 or T2. T1 is the best tier; T3 fails that setting.
Use Value when you want a specific displayed number. Tier appears only when the selected line has a tier ladder for the chosen item type.
6. Commit and check the branch
Click Add to Tree for the new node. Connect its condition-met output to the next step and its condition-not-met output to your retry or finish path. Save the tree before running it.
Use a short tree that only checks the item and finishes while testing your thresholds. Compare the copied item with the Required total in Logs before attaching a currency loop.
Check the result
With All selected, the two qualifying rows contribute a Required total of 2. Reducing fire resistance below 30 leaves a total of 1 and takes the condition-not-met branch. Example Item provides an illustrative preview; an actual item read confirms the running check.
If it does not work
- A line is missing from search: select the correct item type and subtype, then clear restrictive catalog filters.
- The check passes too easily: confirm All is selected and inspect every minimum. Remove unintended rows.
- A tier choice is unavailable: use Value for that line and check the item scope.
